Kim & Jon are an awesome pair: sweet, gorgeous, smart and oh so in love! We wanted to keep the shoot local to Stillwater and mix the looks up a bit, so we headed to the Boomsite and downtown. For early March, we had incredible and rare weather. The ice was mostly melted on the river, which revealed a majestic reflection in the evening. I’m not sure if I had a touch of seasonal affective disorder, but photographing in the warmth of the sun and seeing that reflection had me dancing and all kinds of wacky! Kim and Jon were good sports and humored my enthusiasm with smiles as I bounded with one crazy idea after another. Enjoy! ~Abbey
