2013 Montana Adventure Album
This was our second trip out west in 2013. You can view the first trip from April here. We lived in Bozeman, MT for 10 years before moving back to MN. 2013 was the first year we took our children back for an adventure, though our son was born and raised there until 15 months. Our first trip out in April was spectacular. Our eyes had greatly missed the sight of the Rockies, but some of our favorite locations, such as Hyalite Canyon Recreation Area, just outside of Bozeman, was not open at the time as well as Beartooth Pass outside of Red Lodge, MT. On this trip we spent a couple of wonderful days and nights there before we set out for Yellowstone venturing through Big Sky, MT along the way. We encountered all weather on this adventure: sun, thunderstorms, rain, wind and SNOW! We’re raining some hardy kiddos! 🙂

Climbing the the highest point in the Bridger Range,Sacajawea, with wind that nearly knocked me off my feet, Haven, our son is an impressive hiker… Molly’s a bit of a freeloader on the other hand! It was exciting for the kids to hike in a cloud, but next time we want the vista.
