2014 Sunlit Photography Giveback

Project Molly’s Eyes is back again this April! I still have a few open spots for kids or families of kids with special needs of ANY kind. This is a very rewarding experience for everyone involved and it is always FREE.What is it? It’s a free 25 minute professional photo shoot for you and your special kiddo. Parents/guardians will also get the full resolution digital photo files for free.

If you or someone you know is interested, please contact me at abbey@sunlitphotography.com with a little background as well as contact information: names, phone, city/town and email. Submissions are due by 12am March 7th, 2014. Recipients must live in Stillwater, MN or the surrounding area. There is a limited number of open spots, so submissions will be chosen at random after March 7th.

Pictured is sweet baby Austin who I was fortunate enough to meet last year. His mom and family are memorable and remarkable.

Stillwater, MN Children Photographer: Lillie @ 1 Year!

It was a pleasure to photograph sweet Lillie in my home studio in Stillwater, MN. Lillie turned one just a bit ago and is ready to explore the world!  Like most one year olds, it wasn’t easy to get Lillie to just hang out.  She sure did love the antique rocker! She fits perfectly in it.  I wish I had on video what we did to crack a smile and laugh out of Lillie.  As exhausting as it was, it was well worth her golden giggle and adorable grin!  Enjoy!

Ahhh… what can I say?  I’ve grown to know and love this family over the years!  I began photographing this awesome family not too long after moving to MN.  It will be four years soon!  It’s really neat to watch families grow in front of my lens.  Thank you for your love and trust.  It’s deeply appreciated!

Profile Event Center Wedding: The Lomans

Thank you, Tamara & Garrett,  for choosing Sunlit, Stillwater/Twin Cities Photographers, to photograph your beautiful day at the Profile Event Center!

Tamara and Garrett enjoyed a gorgeous wedding celebration at the Profile Event Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Profile Center has a unique lighting arrangement for each event, which adds a custom touch to the wedding day.  We took a trip over the the Weisman Art Museum on the University of Minnesota campus for a few group images as well.  The Weisman has remarkable architecture and is a great backdrop.  The next stop was the Guthrie Theater .  -Love Photographing in the Yellow room!  We landed there just in time to seek shelter as a few raindrops fell.

The beautiful flowers are by Kari at KMB Floral.  She comes highly recommended!

The images below are the custom spreads to their wedding album.  I’m looking forward to seeing it in print!
