This was my first wedding at the Historic Courthouse, but I will be happily returning in the fall! I enjoyed myself photographing Laura and Matt’s beautiful day. You know the old saying, “it’s good luck when it rains on your wedding day.”??? Well, Laura and Matt had the most perfect amount of “luck” I have ever witnessed. Just as Laura was making her way down the isle, plump and scattered rain drops began to fall. Inwardly, I was freaking out since my current set-up is not rain proof, but I made a few adjustments on the fly and kept snapping away. Matt’s Grandpa, the officiant, started the ceremony with an analogy wrapped around a small wooded watering can. In essence, he told the bride and groom to water their marriage like a farmer waters his crops. The pump rain drops continued to make their way from above with perfect harmony. Amazingly, when the analogy was through, so was the rain! Congrats Laura & Matt… Enjoy!
