Makaela loves Stillwater. She’s what is referd to affectionately as a “River Rat”.  Many of her summer days are spent touring on the St. Croix  in her family’s beautiful boat. Though she opted not to have images on the boat, Makaela wanted to be in Stillwater near the river for her shoot. It’s a tough location to beat, and we had a spectacular summer evening for it! Ava was such a little sweetheart at nearly 10 months! The wildflowers are in bloom for a short time. I’m thrilled Ava got to be surrounded by them. As beautiful as they are, it’s hard to look past Ava’s gorgeous blue eyes! Enjoy!

Loved, loved, loved photographing the beautiful and elegant Grace! It’s rare I have the opportunity to photograph a ballerina. Grace blew me away with her effortless poise and sweet charm. Not only did we take time in the ballet studio, but we also incorporated her appreciation of Harry Potter. It’s awesome when the shoot has a personal touch. Congrats on your graduation, Grace, and best wishes to you. You’ll surely shine!
